As a photojournalist and photographer, I capture candid, delicate, and powerful moments that tell intricate stories and sustain memories. I've photographed behind the scenes of high profile events and have created projects under high-intensity conditions, including at high altitude. I am based in the United States and have spent extensive time on projects in Northern Chile, covering complex stories in Spanish.
My work explores the intimate connections between individual stories, society, and environment. My techniques are carefully executed and draw on methods based on the Photo Voices Method - a geographical and anthropological approach to ethical photojournalism.
My portfolio includes work for Inter Press Service News Agency, the Indiana Daily Student, wedding and event photography, images of breathtaking landscapes, and one-on-one photo sets. I additionally wrote my thesis in geography on mining development and water resources in Chile's Atacama Desert, investigating a timely case study and incorporating visual methods along the watershed.
